This piece explores processes of collage and de-collage, layering painted papers and then stripping away layers. It also incorporates acrylic paint and pastel. It is on a 24" x 30" canvas, 2" deep. In metric, that's 61 x 76 cm x 5 cm deep. If you look closely, you can see messages to me from my grandkids on some of the papers. I can create something like this for you using your own treasured papers (mail them to me) or messages and verses you would like embedded in the art! Your colour scheme, also. Remember that with commissioned work, there's really no right of refusal, but I will do my best to make it be what you want whilst also letting my creativity free!
